The Knifeback Map Installer lets you upload your maps to Knifeback's Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead servers. TF2 maps uploaded using the installer will also be made available for fast download from the server.
Left 4 Dead maps can be voted into play after typing "/reloadmaps" in chat. TF2 requires that an admin change the map. Left 4 Dead 2 does not yet support custom map installation via this tool.
The programs on this page may communicate with Knifeback's servers in order to check for updates or provide functionality. No personally identifiable information is sent, but your IP address (along with the date and time of access and the actions taken) will be logged for security and abuse prevention purposes. Additionally, the programs come with absolutely no warranty, to the extent permitted by applicable law. They are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the programs lies with you. Should the programs prove defective, you assume the cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction.
